How does Filler work?

Hyaluronic acid is a gel like substance found naturally in the body. We use this to replace lost volume which occurs with ageing to lift and restores youthful volume (see my video for further explanation below)

How long does Filler last?

This is patient dependant, but anywhere from 12-18 months is typical..

What are the side effects of Filler?

Common side effects can be redness, mild swelling and discomfort, mild bruising. More serious but rare side effects can occur but see video below for further explanation and reassurance regarding how we minimise these risks.

Is Filler safe?

In the right, experienced hands, dermal fillers are a safe way to restores a youthful appearance, much safer than surgery. Any risks will be discussed at length during consultation.

Will people notice I have had Filler?

People will notice that you look fresher, and perhaps younger - but without obviously seeing what you have had done. Keep them guessing or recommend your skilled doctor at Skinphinity!
